Hailing from the Rhins of Galloway, Stranraer, Scottish Singer/Songwriter Jarad Rowan blends his folk roots with modern day daft craic, reworking old tunes and crafting new ones that feel like they were made for late nights, long drives and packed festival fields.

2025 has been a busy year for Jarad and his band after a long run of Summer festivals throughout Scotland culminating in a tour of his recently released debut album “Songs Granny Taught Ye”, recorded on the Isle of Lewis at Wee Studio Records.

Jarad is currently working on his second studio album with Wee Studio and it promises to be filled with throwback anthems from the 90’s clubland era - only teuchter inspired, of course.
